Total Disability Individual Unemployability (TDIU) reports
Elizabeth offers private, independent vocational assessments for veterans and veteran law attorneys who are appealing a disability decision or seeking an increase in disability rating to obtain TDIU benefits. A TDIU vocational assessment provides decision-makers the information needed to make a determination in a Veterans Affairs (VA) disability case. The assessment determines if the veteran is able to obtain and maintain competitive employment based on current functional capacity and identifies whether a veteran’s service-connected disability prevent him or her from securing substantially gainful employment. TDIU reports are often relied on by decision makers to help understand impact of presenting limitations on current employer standards and the labor market. Vocational expert evaluation and report can be critical in proving that a veteran does in fact qualify for TDIU.

Vocational Evaluations
A Vocational Evaluation assists in identifying the most suitable job options for an individual by considering factors such as their work history, education, personal strengths, abilities, and interests. It can also assess whether someone is prepared for college or vocational training. The final report includes results and interpretation of test scores, analysis of functional capacity/ limitations as related to occupational demands, individualized occupational recommendations including labor market information, and individualized recommendations for accommodations in the workplace. Additionally, Elizabeth offers local worksite evaluations which provide unique insights into an individual’s current work skills, stamina, and ability to stay on task and follow directions in a real life work setting.

Labor Market Surveys
Elizabeth conducts thorough research to identify viable employment opportunities within the local job market that align with an individual’s skills and qualifications. Labor market surveys can be used in rehabilitation and disability services to collect information about local labor market conditions and to provide data for decision-making. Labor market surveys provide valuable information when formulating recommendations affecting individuals with disabilities or injured workers.

Social Security Vocational Expert Testimony
Elizabeth provides impartial expert testimony during the hearings process on claims under title II and title XVI of the Social Security Act. Elizabeth testifies regarding a disability claimant's ability to work, considering their medical condition, age, and the job market.
